John (Johnny, Hubbs), a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend is much loved and will always be remembered fondly and missed greatly by his friends and family. His two greatest loves in life were his family and the fire brigade. A senior officer of the London Fire Brigade for over 20 years he was well respected, and truly loved his job and his extended fire brigade family. John earned the nick name the bull dog, which may have had something to do with his famously fiery temper, but his bark really was a lot worse than his bite. He was a passionate, kind and very caring man who was a pillar of support for his family, with a fantastic sense of humour. Sadly John passed away aged just 46. He is missed sorely every day.
